Abstract:  To elevate tissue temperature to therapeutic level fast with optimal power deposition during hyperthermia treatment (HT) is a key treatment processing step.
 Traditionally we have treated the tumor volume, without considering possible existing thermally significant vessels, using a simple 1st-order temperature-based adaptive power scheme to determine optimal power deposition distributions.
