With globalization and the establishment of the European Internal Market, financial conglomeration has become a new business model. The supervision of financial conglomeration has also become a hot topic since the 1980’s. This essay explores the model and establishment of all-financial supervision in the EU. The European financial supervisory system has had a great influence on the development of Germany’s all-financial supervisory system. Hence, Germany is taken as an example to describe how to develop a unitary federal financial supervisory system.
