    摘要: 本文主要探討電子圖書館在美國與英國兩國的發展,以及我國在電子圖書館發展之途徑,包括主題有:1.電子圖書館相關名詞,敘述其定義與內涵;2.美國電子圖書館之發展;3.英國電子圖書館之發展; 4.我國電子圖書館發展近況;與5 .我國電子圖書館發展之途徑。
    This paper mainly discusses the electronic library implementation in both United States and United Kingdom. In addition, the electronic library developments in Taiwan are described. Five topics are included in this paper, i.e. 1. the electronic library and related terms; 2. the implementations of electronic library in the United States; 3. the implementation of electronic library in the United Kingdom; 4. the developments of the electronic library in Taiwan; and 5. the approaches to developing the electronic library in Taiwan.
