The stress behavior in the section of curved continuous box girder with linear bearing and single column point bearing is to be analyzed by the thin-walled girder theory, elastic beam theory and the principle of virtual work. The deformation equations are established by the consistent conditions. The warping and distorsion effects will also be considered in this analysis. Through the use of this method of analysis to a practical case, the effects of radius of gyration, the spacing between diaphragms, length of span, the position of support and the width of deck upon the stress characteristics will be discussed and compared.
