    Abstract: 基於提升國家競爭力以及培養數位原生世代的「21 世紀關鍵能力」，近年來，各國競相推行電子教科書計畫並廣泛進行各種研究調查。正當國內積極地推動電子書包及教育雲之同時，也應重視電子教科書的發展及應用。本文從科技發展的角度，分析電子教科書的時代需求。進一步探討國外電子教科書發展、使用現況及影響因素，分析美國、韓國、日本推行電子教科書之政策與經驗，及蒐集整理電子教科書設計的相關研究。最後提出對國內發展電子教科書之省思與建議，提供學界未來發展電子教科書之參考。
