By using these criterions, this study tries to examine the advantages and disadvantages of the current junior high school social studies textbooks. Researcher collects the same title's maps in Nan-I, Kang-Hsuan and Han-Lin version, and tries to classify these maps. Researcher uses these maps to analyze and explain the quality of maps in junior high school social studies textbooks.
