    Abstract: The bandwidth-enhanced techniques by using folded structure and feeding via for the microstrip-fed slot antennas are studied in this paper. The bandwidth characteristics of simple slot, single-folded slot and double-folded slot antennas with and without feeding via, respectively, are investigated. The 10-dB return loss bandwidth ~30% for the double folded slot antennas with extended slot and feeding via can be attained.
