Abstract: In the information-based New Economy, the benefits and possibilities offered by Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has led to distance learning (DL) become realized. Due to the essence of flexibility provided by DL courses, students who attempt to balance their studies and employment might not put as much efforts as instructor expected into studying. Therefore, from the teaching and learning perspective, instructor needs to construct an effective distance-learning courseware that benefits students in a maximal learning capacity. In this paper, we refer to concept map and influence diagram to construct a courseware diagram that benefits both sides. With the help of our proposed courseware diagram, a maximum student learning performance can be achieved and just-in-time feedback from students can be delivered to instructor.
