Most of the owners of small and medium enterprises like to implement electronicbusiness in the era of electronic commerce. However, due to limited resources, lack both capabilities and manpower to evaluate and implement e-business, become a challenge to small and medium enterprises. This paper is a case study, which investigates several issues. First, the case firm, Sitronix, a Taiwanese small integrated circuits design firm, is intended to implement electronic business in terms of integrating its different sub-systems for financial system support. Second, this research proposes system integrations scheme and designs financial system functions as e-business solutions based on case firm's needs. Third, a web-based relational database management system is designed and constructed in terms of implementing electronic business on the case firm. Example of system function, on-line analytical analysis, is illustrated. Finally, discussions and future works of this paper are presented.
