    Abstract: The equilibrium phase behavior at 25.degree.C of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and a terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride (VDF)-hexafluoropropylene (HFP)- tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) in mixtures of dimethyl formamide(DMF) (solvent) and Octanol (nonsolvent) were studied. Membranes with various particulate morphologies were prepared and their formation mechanism were related to the obtained phase diagram.
