    Abstract: The blocking chart for two track-etched membranes (IsoporeR) is established for discussing the effect of pore size and operating conditions on the particle fouling in microfiltration. The variation of blocking index of blocking models during filtration is analyzed using filtration data. The major factors affecting the blocking index in the filtration using different membranes, such as the filtration rate and the particle accumulation, are also discussed.
