在PPS/SAN摻合系統中, 加入反應性單體MAH、GMA藉此與摻合物中的高分子在界面間以原位化學反應形成PPS-g-SAN的接枝共聚物充當相容劑。研究結果發現, 同時加入單體MAH與Styrene的 PPS/SAN摻合系統, 有較高的接枝共聚物含量及最小的SAN分散相粒徑。另外從DMTA分析發現, 若加入反應單體的量過高, 將造成殘餘於摻合物中未和高分子反應的單體量增加, 使得其tanδ值下降, 因而影響到摻合物的韌性。 The present study concerns the chemical reaction caused by addition of reactive monomer, such as MAH and GMA which contain difunctional group, during the blending process of PPS/SAN. The reactive blending of PPS/SAN increases the adhesion between two polymer phases. The results show that the domain sizes of PPS/SAN blend is reduced due to interface compatibilization. Dynamic mechanical analysis is affected by residual mononer after the blending process, and this ay reduce the damping behavior (tan δ) of the blends. Rheological properties has revealed the fact that the blends have higher content of interfacial compatibiliation copolymer when reactive monomers are introduced to it.
