摘要:	本研究之目的是從觀眾的角度，探討原住民是對於公共電視的兩個原住民新聞節目的收視與評價，以及對於原住民電視節目的期望。研究發現原住民觀眾對於兩個原住民新聞節目給予滿高的評價，卻也表示了對節目殷切的期望。原住民電視新聞節目在參訪者的心目中，扮演著同化（Assimilation）及多元（Pluralism）的雙重角色。他們希望節目可以提供資訊與服務，協助原住民申請福利、求學就業等。這些均與適應主流社會有關。同時他們又希望藉由節目加強文化的內容與母語，以維護原住民文化和族群的認同。 1.The purpose of this study is to examine the roles played by two aboriginal news programs in Taiwan's Public Television from the audience's point of view. Data were collected from 12 focus group interviews. Findings show that aboriginal audience expected the two programs to play three roles: as the bridge between government and the aboriginal communities; providing useful information to help adaptation to the dominant society; contributing to ethnic cohesion and cultural maintenance.
