    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討臺北市國中生童軍團參與和提昇品格力之關係,並探討不同背景變項之童軍對於參與童軍活動成效與品格核心價值實踐的差異情形。
    本研究採用問卷調查法,以自編「臺北市國中生童軍團參與和提昇品格力之研究調查問卷」作為研究工具,以 270 位就讀於臺北市的國中童軍為研究樣本。將所得資料進行描述性統計、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析以及皮爾森積差相關等統計方法分析。
    本研究結果顯示:
    一、臺北市國中生童軍團參與呈現良好的參與成效,以「童軍精神」參與成
    效為最高,「童軍技能」參與成效為最低。
    二、八年級以上童軍在「童軍知識」、「童軍技能」及「整體參與成效」等參
    與成效比七年級童軍高。
    三、童軍團性質為複式團的童軍對於「童軍知識」、「童軍技能」及「整體參
    與成效」等參與成效明顯高於男女團一起訓練的童軍團。
    四、童軍團資歷為1至2年的童軍對於「童軍知識」、「童軍技能」等參與成
    效明顯高於參加童軍團未滿1年的童軍。
    五、童軍團職務擔任聯隊長或小隊長的童軍對於「童軍知識」、「童軍技能」
    及「整體參與成效」等參與成效明顯高於一般團員。
    六、每週參與童軍團活動時數為1小時以上未滿3小時的童軍對於「童軍知
    識」、「童軍技能」及「整體參與成效」等參與成效明顯高於未滿1小時
    的團員。
    七、童軍級別為中級及高級的童軍對於「童軍知識」、「童軍技能」及「整體
    參與成效」等參與成效明顯高於初級童軍。
    八、臺北市參與童軍團的童軍品格核心價值實踐程度高,以「值得信賴」為
    實踐程度最高的品格核心價值。
    九、童軍團性質為複式團的童軍對於「尊重」、「關懷」、「公民責任」及「整
    體品格核心價值」的實踐明顯高於男女團一起訓練的童軍團。
    十、學業總成績平均為優的童軍對於「責任」、「值得信賴」及「整體品格核
    心價值」的實踐明顯高於學業總成績平均為乙以下的童軍。
    十一、童軍團職務擔任小隊長的童軍對於「責任」的實踐明顯高於一般團員。
    十二、臺北市國中學生童軍團參與和提昇品格力具有中度正相關的關聯程度。
    The main purpose of this study was to explore the participation of scouts and the promotion of character competence among the junior high school students in Taipei city, and to explore different background variables involved in the participation of scouts and the practice of core values of character.
    The research establishes a research framework by adopting "Research Survey of the participation of scouts and the promotion of character competence among the junior high school students in Taipei city" as a research tool. A total of 270 junior high school scouts were asked to fill a set of instruments. The obtained data were analyzed by using descriptivestatistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s product-moment correlations.
    The main findings of this study are:
    1. The participation of scouts among the junior high school students in Taipei city perform well. The participation of "scout spirit" is the highest, and the participation of "scout skills" is the lowest.
    2. Eighth and nineth graders in junior high school students perform better than seventh graders in "scout knowledge", "scout skills" and "the overall participation of scouts".
    3. Scout Groups, which provide programs for more than two age-sections, perform better than Scout Groups, which provide programs for boy scouts and girl scouts in "scout knowledge", "scout skills" and "the overall participation of scouts".
    4. Scouts, which join in the scout for 1-2 years perform better than scouts, which join in the scout less than a year in "scout knowledge" and "scout skills" .
    5. Souts as united captains or team leaders perform better than general members in "scout knowledge", "scout skills" and "the overall participation of scouts".
    6. Scouts, which join in the scout for 1-3 hours every week perform better than scouts, which join in the scout less than a hour every week in "scout knowledge" , "scout skills" and "the overall participation of scouts".
    7. Scouts as high or middle level scouts perform better than primary scouts in "scout knowledge" , "scout skills" and "the overall participation of scouts".
    8. The junior high school scouts in Taipei city perform well in practicing core values of characters. They have best performance in the practice of "trustworthiness".
    9. Scout Groups, which provide programs for more than two age-sections, perform better than Scout Groups, which provide programs for boy scouts and girl scouts in the practice of "respect", "caring", "citizenship", and "the overall practicing core values of character".
    10. Scouts , who make excellent academic achievements, perform better than scouts , who make academic achievements lower than B in the practice of "responsibility" , "trustworthiness" and "the overall practicing core values of character".
    11. Souts as team leaders perform better than general members in the practice of "responsibility" .
    12. Moderate positive correlation among the participation of scouts and the promotion of character competence was found
