首先說明“社區營造”運動的社會條件與發展歷程。“社區營造”關乎社會、經濟、文化與政治等層面的議題。其次，討論空間專業者在這個運動中所扮演核心的角色；透過了參與“城鄉新風貌”的政策，空間專業者獲得許多實踐的機會。第三，選擇從事社區營造與創造城鄉新風貌的主要團隊“淡水社區工作室”的實踐經驗作為討論對象，以二個將設計帶到生活世界中的工程案來說明社區營造如何落實在真實的生活空間中。 This article fi rst explores the social conditions and diff erent stages of the “community empowerment” movement. “Community empowerment” concerns social, economic, cultural and political issues. Second, this article discusses the fundamental role played by the spatial professionals in this community movement. Through participating in the “townscape development” policy, spatial professionals gained many opportunities to practice. Third, this article chooses the practical experience of the “community action team, Tamsui” as the principal subject of discussion because this local team primarily focuses its work on community empowerment and townscape development. This article explains how community empowerment is practiced in real life by means of discussing two construction projects that bring design into people’s living world.
