摘要: The changes in relations between Taiwan and China are important not only to these two parties, but also to the entire world. Venezuela, as a Leftist country rich in energy resources, has a special elation with China. Recent changes in the economic and tnancial situation of the world are affecting China' s role in the intemational manufacturing chain, and also the links of China with the producers of raw materials. The improvement in the relations between Taipei and Beijing, great needs ofinvestments and supplies on the part of Venezuela, a certain economic complementarity
among Venezuela, China, and Taiwan, and potential benefits for all parties involved make advisable a limited cooperation between China and Taiwan in Venezuela to invest and sell products and services there. The cooperation is not devoid of risks and dangers for the parties involved. The cooperation of Taiwan with China might be used by Beijing to present the island as part of the PRC in font of the intemational community and for the economic enterprises of both sides of the Straits, there are risks derived the political and regulatory instability of Venezuela.
