Abstract: This work reported the boiling test of biological aggregates, with particular attention on the correlation of aggregate structure with the boiling efficiency. The aggregates of different interior structures had been adopted for boiling tests. The aggregates with higher overall fractal dimension will have a more efficient nucleate boiling. The transient contact of the floc with the heating surface would produce tiny bubbles of size of several tens μm that markedly enhance local heat transfer rate.
