Introduction: 一九七零年代，又鑒於我國技術密集以轉型成功，正邁向資本密集之型態，為就業市場培育高級管理人才，及提供商職與專科學校畢業生在進修機會，成立第一所技術學院。本院於民國八十五年成立，設置企業管理系、國際貿易營運系及財務金融營運系等三系，八十六年增設建築工程技術系、營建工程技術系及應用日語系等三系。八十八年二月各系更名為管理學系、國際企業經營系、財務系、建築技術系、營建系、應用日語系。八十七年成立技術暨營運發展中心。因應教育部政策，技術學院自95學年度起停招，96學年度組織裁撤，並將隨著本學年度的結束畫下句點。
The College of Technology was founded in August, 1996, to reflect the developing trends in Taiwan for the following objectives: strengthening special, technical and professional education, enhancing the professional skills of junior-college graduates, expanding channels and access to on-the-job education, and promoting the multi-development of Tamkang University. In the 1996-1997 academic year, we set up the Department of Management, the Department of International Business Management, the Department of Finance and Applications. In the 1997-1998 academic year, we established three other departments: the Department of Practical Japanese, the Department of Architectural and Building Technology, and the Department of Construction. Every department is devoted to instruction in the theories of professional courses and their practical applications. By emphasizing field practices and practical applications, we hope to consummate our goal and cultivate our students to become competent professionals. We have the stop recruitment of students on 2006 academic year.
