    Abstract: 論文內容提要︰

    本研究針對產業轉型後設備荒廢的閒置空間進行討論,觀察荒廢廠區中自然環境形態多變的現象,嘗試將環境中自然元素的多變形態,透過擷取形式、適度詮釋的設計操作方式讓荒廢的空間再生。在今日的數位時代,將生活環境中的自然元素,經由電腦工具進行形態模擬與形塑,在既有環境中置入創造的建築元件,強調生活環境與自然元素融合,使得空間形態呈現多樣性。在既有垂直水平的空間形式中,經由自然元素多變的形態,嘗試以多變化的形式豐富生活環境。本研究以人與自然的關係為出發點,經由數位工具將工業化制式產品如磚塊、木材以自然形態呈現,企圖在生活中增進人與自然的關係。

    本論文架構主要分為四個部分:第一部分為研究者的個人生活經驗及對於環境的觀察。第二部分除了與本研究相關案例與建築師的介紹,內容還包括:在地文化類,簡述糖廠發展背景以說明人與自然的關係;科普知識類,描述形態模式與數學的關係,以說明外觀形式下的潛在共通性及可被查覺的衍生規則;建築相關書籍,簡述當代數位工具設計之建築案例,以說明本研究發展的基礎與當代建築的關係。第三部分以新營糖廠閒置廠區做為操作基地,整理出數種自然元素運用於生活環境的方式。包括:一、從基地觀察擷取自然元素,經由對於自然形態的觀察、描繪,模擬自然環境豐富多變的形態,並以數位工具模擬自然形態,進而將自然形態運用於建築元件;二、試圖在既有環境留住自然元素,希望找到適合在生活環境中應用自然元素的方式。第四部分將前面的設計操作應用於基地,透過建築元件重新組織糖廠環境,將自然元素轉化以運用於生活環境中,例如:廠區內地景元素之鋪面與圍牆隔柵枝改善,與建築元素之牆面與構架之運用。

    經由模擬自然形態與留住自然元素,將所新建立的建築元件置入既有環境中,以此方式增進生活中的自然觸感,除了豐富環境形態多樣性,也重新思考人與自然的關係。就發展歷程而言,人獨立於自然環境之外,以機械裝置嚴格控制自然,或以自然點綴生活,然而本研究期望在生活中引進自然元素,在設計階段考慮與自然元素並存,進而提出留住自然的對策,以增進生活環境中人與自然的和諧關係。
    Abstract︰
    The goal of this study was to explore the possibilities for the innovation of the ruin space for a factory. Industrial transformation caused abandoned equipment and ruin space. Thus, this research observes the post-industrial environment and improves environmental conditions by design. The design in this research highlights to bring different natural and post-industrial conditions in the environment together. As well as, the relationship between the people and the nature is the starting point of this study. Digital design tools are applied incorporates industrialized standard products such as bricks and woods to generate natural form.

    There are four main parts of this research. First of all, it is researcher''s personal life experiences and observations for the environment. Secondly, it is about the history and development background of Sin-Ying Sugar Factory, and the relationship between people and nature in the local culture. The case studies, the architects and contemporary developments of digital architecture related to this research are reviewed. As well as, the relationship between biology and mathematics, and the appearance of natural form related design development are discussed. Thirdly, the ruin space of Sin-Ying Sugar Factory is selected as a site, different methods for observing the natural conditions have been used in the environment which includes: A. Retrieving nature conditions through the depiction of natural form and applying digital tools to simulate the natural forms. B. Retaining the natural elements of the existing environment and finding suitable methods for the environment. Finally, is applying building components to re-organize the sugar factory environment. For example: The improvement of plant landscape, and design of elements in the pavement and wall grille.

    By the simulation of natural form and retain the natural elements, the newly created building components placed in the existing environment. In this way enhance the natural touch of life, in addition to rich environment of morphological diversities, but also to rethink the relationship between people and nature. During the development process of the factory, people independent out of the natural environment, strict control of the nature by mechanism, or embellish life by nature. The goal of this study is to introduce natural elements in the life, coexist with the natural elements in the design phase, find the way to retain the natural, improve the living environment of man and nature in harmonious relationship.
