    摘要: 本研究旨在瞭解電子書使用者經驗研究，包含了使用者使用電子書閱讀器閱讀的動機、使用者對於使用閱讀器時遇到的困難情況和使用者對於電子書與電子書閱讀器的需求與期望。因此本研究以淡江大學學生為研究對象，以城邦「隨身e冊」為測驗平台，透過可用性分析和深度訪談進行研究，瞭解淡江大學學生在電子書使用經驗中遭遇的困難，並依據可用性分析和深度訪談結果，本研究結論與建議如下：
    使用者對於聽到電子書的第一印象不同，研究發現大多數使用者認為電子書所指為電子書內容而言、少部分使用者認為是電子書閱讀器，故本研究認為應強化使用者對電子書的認知、讓使用者對於電子書的定義可以更加明確。此外，針對電子書與電子書閱讀器設計方面，使用者希望電子書的介面設計簡單易操作、系統提示能夠幫助記憶，方可讓使用者在短時間內，快速進入閱讀環境，享受閱讀；所以電子書的可用性越高，提升使用者閱讀時間的機會也會越高。然而就使用者認為良好的電子書閱讀器設計，則是希望閱讀器的重量越輕，越易攜帶、閱讀器的螢幕解析度越高，閱讀時眼睛越不易感覺疲憊，會拉長使用者閱讀的時間；若電子書閱讀器功能多、價錢親民，便會增加購買意願。
    The purpose of this study is to understand the e-book user experience, including the motivation of the users in reading the e-book reader, user’s preferences and expectations for e-books and e-book readers. In this study, students at Tamkang University are recruited as research participants and the City-State’s “Carry e-book” is used as the test platform. Through usability testing and in-depth interviews, the researcher is able to identify the user experience of e-books. The findings and conclusions are as follows.

    For most users, they refer e-books as the content of the e-book; however, there are still a small number of users tend to think the term “e-book” as the hardware, i.e., the reader. It shows that a more clear definition for e-books is needed. For the design of e-books and e-book readers, the results show that the users’ preferences are heavily relied on the user interface and the design of the e-book, including the easiness of use, the appropriate system prompts in e-books, quick access of the reading mode in order to enjoy reading at any time. Apparently, higher usability can enhance the reading experience and the time spent on reading e-books will be increased as the result. In addition, the findings also reveal that light weight, easy to be carried around, and higher resolution of the screen, etc. are among the preferences and expectations for the e-book reader. Lastly, the price of the e-book is still a major consideration of whether the user is willing to use e-books.
