隨著工業化的快速發展,越來越多的群眾與政府單位開始認知到環境的汙染將會在未來付出嚴重的社會成本,環境保護的推動在世界各國已成為非常重要的議題。各國政府紛紛採取行動來保護自然生態環境,這帶給國際性的品牌公司及其供應鏈廠商無比的經營壓力。這些全球性的公司為了回應國際間的環境保護壓力,紛紛建立各自專屬且嚴格的產品環境管理系統來管理公司的產品生產作業,同時也要求所屬的供應商必須配合與遵守。 另一方面,面對全球市場競爭愈趨激烈且需求成長趨緩,企業為求突破困境紛紛希望透過創新在市場上取得競爭優勢,一旦建立產品環境管理系統會不會對公司的創新績效產生衝擊呢? 本研究透過使用12項創新績效指標的創新雷達模型對國內資訊電子業者進行研究,以個案方式深度訪談導入產品環境管理系統的業者,以自我評估的方式討論企業的產品環境管理系統建立前與建立後的創新績效變化。根據本研究的結果顯示正確的建立產品環境管理系統可以協助公司增進創新的績效,沒有任何一項創新績效會受到系統建置而有負面的影響。換言之,嚴格的產品環境管理系統可以提供企業一個檢視各項工作流程機會,讓企業的資源使用與運作更具效率。 Following rapid industrial development, a growing public and government awareness of the severe extent and ultimate cost of pollution is propelling the environmental protection movement in each country. Governments have taken a number of steps to protect the natural ecology. It’s an incomparable pressure for international brand business and their suppliers. Therefore, lots of international brand businesses tried to build proprietary and strict product environment quality management system for managing their own manufacturing processes and extending this system to supplier. In other side, faced fierce competition global market with slow growth and commoditization, many entrepreneurs view innovation as critical to corporate success. Is there any impact of innovation performance from building product environment quality management system? This research uses the innovation radar model with 12 performance index to evaluate the innovation performance for Taiwan’s Information and Electronics Industries. Results of this research show that properly constructed product environment quality management system will help companies to improve their innovation performance. Most of innovation performance index are increased positively. It means that strict product-regulations can prod companies into innovating to have more resource-efficient process.
