    Abstract: 本研究根據目前台鐵常見的複線運轉狀況,提出一套完整的數學模式與分析計算流程來進行路線容量分析。整體而言,本研究提出的程序雖然需要較多的輸入參數,但相對也能夠反映較多容量影響因素。本研究以基隆至新竹路段作為案例分析之對象,分析結果顯示,該路段下行之路線容量瓶頸為竹北-新竹段,容量為9.38列/小時,上行之容量瓶頸則為汐止-七堵段,容量為8.31 列/小時。基隆-新竹段下行方向容量利用率超過80%的路段依序為:萬華-板橋、七堵-汐止、台北-萬華、松山-台北、桃園-內壢、鶯歌-桃園、汐止-南港。上行方向容量利用率超過80%的路段依序為:板橋-萬華、汐止-七堵、桃園-鶯歌。
