    Abstract: 本研究根據目前台鐵常見的複線運轉狀況，提出一套完整的數學模式與分析計算流程來進行路線容量分析。整體而言，本研究提出的程序雖然需要較多的輸入參數，但相對也能夠反映較多容量影響因素。本研究以基隆至新竹路段作為案例分析之對象，分析結果顯示，該路段下行之路線容量瓶頸為竹北－新竹段，容量為9.38列/小時，上行之容量瓶頸則為汐止－七堵段，容量為8.31 列/小時。基隆－新竹段下行方向容量利用率超過80%的路段依序為：萬華－板橋、七堵－汐止、台北－萬華、松山－台北、桃園－內壢、鶯歌－桃園、汐止－南港。上行方向容量利用率超過80%的路段依序為：板橋－萬華、汐止－七堵、桃園－鶯歌。
