Content analysis was used to examine the web pages of loan policies. The results suggested that lending services and related polices of e-book readers in public libraries in the U.S. are thorough, detailed, and extensive in a number of aspects. By examining the literature and the lending polices of public libraries in the U.S., the results of the analysis can provide experience for making loan policies of e-book readers in public libraries in Taiwan.
