摘要: Computers have become popular appliances in our life, and people spend more and more time using computers. How to use computers healthily become important issues. In this paper, a hybrid face detector with the Symmetric Mask-based Discrete Wavelet Transform (SMDWT) and the Face Geometrical Features (FGF) is proposed. Moreover, in many real-world video analytic systems, the characteristic of low computation complexity and fast response for low resolution images still causes attraction on computer vision applications. In order to monitor the user who uses the computer with inappropriate distance and this system will remind the user to keep a good distance from the computer for good eyesight. It uses a low complex wavelet transform to improve the vision care system to achieve real-time processing, and it adopts the face feature detection method to increase the accuracy ratio. The proposed method was verified on the captured images under several real indoor environments.
