    Abstract: 本文依中國哲學觀點與文化生活，探討近代西方的語言教學理論。根據陰陽的雙元論，驗証我國學生在「是否」的英文句中互相錯誤的夾雜使用。另外，肯定外語教學中的翻譯地位，並說明何以文法教學與寫作改正之必要性。以文化而言，學生對外來文化會因英文程度的精進而更加提高對外來文化的辯識力。
