    Abstract: 快濾為淨水處理程序中最後的固液分離單元,淨水場因受限於佔地面積,如何改善過濾能力,為今後淨水場改善或擴建計劃必須考慮之工程技術。傳統快濾採用濾料為石英砂與無煙煤,其過濾能力與過濾機制已廣泛研究;相對地,近年來新型濾料能改善傳統快濾之過濾能力,即可改善傳統濾料損失水頭上升及濾程縮短之缺失,故其應用於淨水固液分離單元之漸受重視。本研究擬以新型濾料種類、濾層厚度與濾速為物理因素,混凝劑加藥量與種類為化學因素,同時以高嶺土模擬人工原水濁度,探討新型濾料應用於淨水固液分離程序中,取代沈澱池及改善傳統快濾能力之可行性,並以過濾係數與過濾能力評估新型濾料過濾能力,故本研究目的如下:(1)物理化學因素對新型濾料取代沈澱池去除濁度之影響(2)物理化學因素對新型濾料改善傳統過濾能力之影響(3)新型濾料過濾能力之評估
