    Abstract: 電子簽章的有效性是依憑證有效與否而定，但驗證憑證處理需要依國際規範進行嚴謹與複雜的驗證，才可以正確地完成。所以憑證驗證技術是為PKI技術較為困難的部分，各主要國家及國際組織，都對這個課題投注相當多的心力，以符合世界趨勢，本文將說明如果沒有憑證驗證服務系統時應用憑證將產生的問題，接著分析此系統所需的整體需求目標及系統架構，並探討驗證憑證服務系統所需的作業功能、應用程式介面、資訊安全及服務水平等各項功能以及其系統建置的架構，以供我國建置驗證憑證服務系統的參考，並提升我國PKI產業水準。
