    Abstract: 針對環境問題,國內外目前已經發展出各種 不同用途之環境指標.本研究旨在建立一般性 之水質指標.而所使用之方法為決策科學領域 發展出之一套數量方法中的部分理論以作為本 研究之基礎.此數量方法為多屬性效用理論簡 稱MAUT.本人將藉用MAUT理論中如何向專家取得其 效用函數之技巧.並定義此效用函數為此水質 指標函數.一般水質指標均假設各參數間為相 互獨立,而MAUT理論並無此限制.當水質指標函數 確定後,我們將以近幾年之實際水質資料代入, 求得其指標值並討論之.本研究預期可達到下 列之成果:(1)MAUT法可處理具有相關性(非獨立性 )之能力;(2)本研究所得到之水質指標可用來評 估水汙染情形;(3)幫助專家進行思考,並找出專 家在思緒上前後不一致的矛盾;(4)訓練學生,如 何構建理論模式,及與環保專家之思緒下獲得 實務經驗,以期獲得對水質指標更深入之了解.
