簡介：產業經濟學系，原名合作經濟學系，成立於民國59年8月。於民國81學年度為配合經濟學術不斷蓬勃發展趨勢與國家整體經濟發展之需要，因而更改系名為產業經濟學系。產業經濟學研究所成立於民國82年9月，92學年度首次招生的博士班，構成一個完整的教育體系。另於101學年度因應學院整合政策，原於商學院之下，現改隸屬於商管學院中。相對於經濟系而言，本系大學部除了經濟學必備的各種課程之外，還有許多企管、財金與資管方面的課程供大家修習，因此本系的課程是理論與實務兼顧。讓同學在畢業時，不但具備了一般經濟系畢業生所具有的紮實經濟理論基礎，也具備了企管、財金與資管的基本學能。本系許多老師做研究的功力與成就都在許多國立大學經濟系之上，在國內經濟學界中，淡江產經系已經是信譽的保證，這可以由數年前「天下雜誌」對國內各大學經濟類學系之學術評鑑本系名列全國第4得到印証。

The Department of Industrial Economics was formed in 1992 from the old Department of Cooperative Economics. Our teaching target is to provide students with basic knowledge in the field of Industrial Economics and to prepare them both for further studies and future employment. We also encourage student’s enthusiasm and promote their ability in research. To sum up, our goal is to make this department to be Taiwan’s premier industrial economics research center. The Graduate Institute of Industrial Economics was established in 1993. Its teaching objectives are to train students to have a professional knowledge of Industrial Economics and strong ability for further study and employment; furthermore, we stimulate the students’ enthusiasm and ability for advanced research.
