    Abstract: 網際網路的發展逐漸改變人類的生活模式,但便利性之後隨之而來的負面影響逐漸被受到重視,越來越多人花比自己預期更多的時間在使用網路上卻不自覺,形成所謂「網路成癮」的現象。
    本研究主要目的是比較紙筆測量網路成癮與腦波測量資料做比較分析。本研究採用實驗室實驗法,實驗之前與實驗完成之後需要受測者填寫陳淑惠(1999)所編製的中文網路成癮測量量表(CIAS)和美國匹茲堡大學Kimberly S. Young(1996)的網路成癮量表(IAT),實驗過程是由受測者實際上網操作並全程收集腦波資料。紙筆測量結果將受測者各分為成癮和非成癮,此紙筆測驗的網路成癮測量資料與受測者的腦波測量資料作比較分析,比較方式為受測者使用網路時其β波是否有顯著差異。
    The advancement of the Internet has changed the way we live, play, and work. But with the convenience of the Internet providing for us, it has also influenced us in an inverse way. People unconsciously spend more time than expected using the Internet. This phenomenon has been called as "Internet addiction".

    The purpose of this study is to compare Internet addiction measured by paper-and-pencil measurement instruments with that collected by electroencephalogram (EEG). This study employed laboratory experiment. Both measurement instruments by Chen(1999) and Young (1996) were administered to each subject at the beginning and end of the experiment. Both instruments result in subjects with or without Internet addiction. The measurement data can then be compared with EEG data recorded while playing with the Internet game, using βwave, to see if there are differences.

    There were 50 subjects participating in the experiment. The results show that theβwaves for subjects with Internet addiction, classified by both measurement instruments, are lower, due to the lower attention level. The results also show that theβwaves for subjects without Internet addiction indicated by Chen’s instrument, are higher, due to the higher attention level. However, theβwaves for subjects without Internet addiction measured by Young’s instrument do not show the same result.
