    Abstract: 複合材料發展初期,由於種種技術上的限制,使其無法被大量應用於航空器中。然而,複合材料擁有重量輕而強度高的特性,使得專家學者們不斷致力於其研究,試圖能夠擴展其應用層面。對於現今的航太產業而言,複合材料已占有舉足輕重的地位。不論是由環保的角度出發,還是以企業成本的角度考量,複合材料較輕的優勢,使其正逐步取代傳統金屬材料在航空器上所扮演的角色,獲得愈來愈大的應用比例。
    Early development of composite materials, due to various technical limitations, it can not be widely used in aircraft. However, the composite material has a light weight and high strength characteristics, experts and scholars have been working on its research, trying to extend the application level of composite material. Nowadays, composite materials have been occupying the important position in aerospace industry .Whether from the perspective of environmental protection, or to consider the cost of business, the advantages of lighter composite materials is gradually replacing the traditional metal materials in the aircraft''s role, and accesses to the application of increasing the proportion.
    This article discusses the theme of composite materials in commercial aircraft and light aircraft application.The first chapter will be the introduction of composite material and its application in the development of the aviation industry.The second chapter is for commercial aircraft and light aircraft definition, history, collate and analyze relevant laws and regulations.The third chapter is the content of composites in commercial aircraft and the application of light aircraft, including composite materials regulations, research development . The fourth chapter is about the general aviation market, and composite materials are used in commercial and light aircraft in the current situation, also including some of technical applications and the development of future direction. The last Chapter, in order to composites material used in aircraft will be more and more, and occupy an increasingly important position, we are going to discuss how to go beyond the existing technology, increase efficiencies, reduce cost.
