Abstract:	何謂我們的家鄉，成長過程至今如何表訴我們自己的家鄉，它有什麼特色，它帶給我們怎樣的生長歷程，如何用一種方式記錄它和回憶它。如果人生是一場旅程，那是否可以用一種旅行的角度來觀看和記錄自己的家鄉。以小旅行的角度出發觀察和記錄我的家鄉 - 中興新村，原生中興的我帶著一種無所不知卻一無所知的態度來行走這塊培養我二十五年的地方，以步行的方式尋著過去生活經驗的走出記憶路徑，除了用相機和自己的身體作為記錄之外，藉由旅行過程中訪談同學的過程，找出我們這一帶在中興所留下的生活痕跡，刻畫出我們這一代對中興的一個定義，對過去歷史和未來中科五期開發之間的斷層做一個回應。將我們對中興的定義藉由外來的旅人和新住民在中興漫遊的過程中來顯影。本文以歷史，旅行，記錄，收藏，四個過程作為主要操作架構，並串連整篇設計論文。第一部分為”歷史”，說明中興新村發展歷程和歷史價值，以及未來規劃。第二部分為”旅行”，說明我對旅行的定義，以及用旅行如何作為發現中興生活經驗的媒介。第三部分為” 記錄”，說明在旅行中的記錄和訪談，如何再現和轉化成為我所要表達的中興生活經驗。第四部分為”收藏”，說明在找到何謂中興，和中興生活經驗之後，以提供一種漫遊在中興的體驗的方式，創造生活中的小旅行，來呈現收藏的一種方式。 How should we begin to define our hometown? Throughout our lives, how will we describe our homeland - the characteristics it possess, the rite of passage it brings, or the way we document and reminisce. If life is a journey, is it possible to observe and record our hometown with a perspective of a tourist? I take a small trip to observe and document my home - Zhongxing New Village. I was born and raised here. Knowing everything there is to know about this place, I began my journey with a fresh perspective through a place that has raised me for 25 good years. Walking down the memory lane, I march forward, step by step, seeking a life from the past. Besides using my camera and my body as witness, I interviewed my schoolmates during this trip, finding the footsteps left behind in Zhongxing by our generation. We search for a definition our generation has for Zhongxing, as a response to the gap between the past and future industrial innovation park that is meant to be set up here. The definition we have for Zhongxing will be emphasized as we ample through the village as a traveler and new comer. This study pans out through four main structures – history, travel, documentation, and collection – which tie the entire article together. In the first section- history- the development, historical value, and future plans of Zhongxing New Village are illustrated. In the next section – travel- I will explain my definition towards travel, and how I discover the life experience in Zhongxing through traveling. In the third section – documentation- I explain how the interviews and documentation during my trip have reappeared and transferred into the life experience I am trying to convey. In the last section – collection- I describe the life after having discovered the life experience and the meaning of Zhongxing, so as to provide a way to wander in the village of Zhongxing, collecting through the creation of small journeys in life.
