    Abstract: 手機與網際網路可謂二十世紀對人類生活方式造成影響最大的兩個發明。手機發展至今已經成為人類最普遍使用的行動裝置,而手機的使用方式也從以前的純粹通話,演變到現在利用手機進行上網、收發郵件、聽音樂、照相等。雖然智慧型手機在學習方面已經有許多應用,但如何使用手機進行合作式學習以增進學習效果尚未有普遍的認知。
    The two inventions of Mobile phones and the Internet can be described as the greatest impacts on human life in twentieth century. Mobile phone has become the most widely used devices nowadays. The original purpose of cell phones was simply making calls, now it evolves into a kind of device which is capable of surfing the Internet, sending e-mail, listening to music, taking photos and so on. Although smart phones have been used in many learning applications, there is no common understanding about how to enhance learning effects with the assistance of cooperative learning.
    The purpose of this study is to investigate the theoretical framework of active cooperative learning and find out how it can increase the effectiveness of mobile learning activities in wireless Internet environment. Android, the now popular and common platform system, is used to deliver mobile cooperative learning applications to the users and break the limitations of space and time for learning English vocabulary. Actual test results have verified the validness of this proposed learning scheme.
