The innovative products and services are mainly edge. Moreover, the research also suggests that new product development (NPD) usually pays little attention to customer requirements in practices, then lead to NPD project failed. Thus, we try to study the effect of requirements management practices on new product development project performance.
In pretest, Data collected from literature and specialist suggestion that for revised questionnaires. In total, there are 146 samples in this research; all data were used in structure equation modeling (SEM). With respect to a comprehensive view of customer requirements management, implications and future research directions are identified.
The results showed that customer requirements is the key success factor in NPD and found requirements management practices was significant impact with requirement stable. The findings also revealed that requirements stable significant directly impact interpersonal conflict, project performance and market performance. Furthermore, the study provides evidence that interpersonal conflict negatively affect project performance.
