摘要:	台灣金融業在近十年來為因應金融自由化的趨勢，在政府政策主導下銀行業相繼進行整併。探討主併銀行及被併銀行的宣告效果及主併銀行的長期經營績效是否在進行購併後有改善的趨勢，供台灣銀行業參考未來進行整併的方向；併透過整併提高在國際金融市場上的競爭力。實證結果如下： 1.主併銀行購併宣告效果為正值，但不顯著。 2.被併行的宣告效果為正值，在接近宣告日時有顯著趨勢。 3.長期財務績效方面，合併後主併銀行體質有改善但未達顯著水準。 Taiwan''s financial industry in the last decade in response to the trend of financial liberalization in government policies have led to the entire banking and. Empirical results are as follows: 1 Acquiror bank mergers announced positive results, but not significantly. 2 Target bank is positive, when close to declare on a significant trend. 3 Long-term financial performance, combined with improved physical emperor and banks, but below the level of significance.
