本文驗證長期經濟成長率與生育率之間的關係。模型為一個內生成長模型加入內生的生育和勞動供給，且養育成本採用資源消耗的形式設定。我們發現較高的生育率會阻礙經濟成長，但是，較高的經濟成長會使得生育增加。 This paper examines the long-run relationship between the economic growth rate and the fertility rate in an endogenous growth model with elastic labor supply. The cost of child-rearing is increasing with capital. We find that higher fertility rate impedes economic growth, but higher economic growth boosts the fertility rate.
