    Abstract: 機構或結構元件的材料強度(Strength)已達所需強度值,並不意味著信賴度(Reliability)亦達要求水準。元件的強度及信賴度已足夠,亦不表示合成之系統機構(System mechanism)整體信賴度已達高效能,即使強度、信賴度都已足夠,亦仍不能肯定其強健性(Robustness)良好。元件或機構整體表現 (Overall performance) 的變異(Variance)範圍少,是精密工程(Precision Engineering) 所不可或缺的重要因素。與其在製造時提高加工精度,選用機械性質高的材料,不如在設計時一體考量強度、信賴度、強健度及多功能要求,使得最佳設計結果。本研究即是以前述之訴求理由,提出此研究計畫。其執行方法採用統計學原理、信賴度、工程設計方法及最佳化的原理,再加上模糊理論以處理可能之模糊訊息設計。預期此電腦輔助設計方法之開發,將提供給設計者更好的設計程序及自動化設計程式,使設計結果和實際狀況之需求更能結合。
