簡介：在既有的未來學發展的成就基礎上，民國85年起，本校先後成立未來研究組、未來學研究中心、並且開設未來學研究學程。90學年度因應學校組織再造政策，「未來研究組」改制為「未來學研究中心」，改隸本院，目標在策劃與教授未來學核心課程。92學年度「未來學研究中心」併入「未來學研究所」。本所教育目標強調對學生的教育，在於「未來變遷」、「科際整合」、「未來導向思考」、「社會科學研究」、以及「未來分析與規劃」等能力的培養與促進，均與本學院的目標一致。
