Introduction: 為了應對日益增加的重要性和需要心理輔導，在社區，家庭和學校，「教育心理與諮商研究所」成立於91學年度，培育教育心理與諮商研究及臨床輔導之專業人才，培養學校專業輔導人員、各相關機構心理諮商人員及社會教育工作者所應有的專業能力。

In response to the increasing importance and needs of psychological counseling in communities, families and schools, the Graduate Institute of EducationalPsychology and Counseling was established in 2002, providing the training programs to cultivate professional counselors and teachers for communities, all levelsof schools and institutions.
