    Abstract: Application of a linear fluid shear in a flat-plate thermal diffusion columns substantially increases the separation efficiency by improving the cascading effect. Considerable improvement in separation was obtained by employing the moving-wall column, operating at the best-wall velocity and the best angle of inclination instead of using the stationary-wall column placed in vertical position.
