    Abstract: The separation equations for the enrichment of heavy water in a batch-type thermal diffusion column have been derived for low-concentration operations. The experimental works for various feed concentrations of H2OHDOD2O system has been also conducted and the results quantitatively confirm with the prediction of the theory.
