Introduction: 本校國際研究學院設立於民國81年8月1日，為國內大學中第一個設立的國際研究學院。原設有歐洲研究所、美國研究所、國際事務與戰略研究所、日本研究所、拉丁美洲研究所、俄羅斯研究所、中國大陸研究所暨東南亞研究所。本院自98學年度起，整併為5個研究所：歐洲研究所（下分歐洲聯盟研究組與俄羅斯研究組）、美洲研究所（下分美國研究組與拉丁美洲研究組）、亞洲研究所（下分東南亞研究組與日本研究組）、國際事務與戰略研究所與中國大陸研究所。其中，美洲研究所、歐洲研究所與國際事務與戰略研究所設有博士班。本院旨在培養各項區域研究及國際性實務工作之高級人才，同時也針對全校大學部同學開授二十餘項「各國文化、政治、社會與經濟」等核心課程。本院有41位專任教師，其中包括多位外籍教授。

Founded on August 1st, 1992, College of International Studies is comprised of eight graduate institutes－Graduate Institute of European Studies, Graduate Institute of American Studies, Graduate Institute of International Affairs and Strategic Studies, Graduate Institute of Japanese Studies, Graduate Institute of Latin America Studies, Graduate Institute of Slavic Studies, Graduate Institute of China Studies, Graduate Institute of Southeast Asian Studies. Besides offering M.A. Programs, Graduate Institute of American Studies, Institute of European Studies and Institute of International Affairs and Strategic Studies also offer Ph.D. Programs. Our college is devoted to cultivating high-level professionals to engage in academic researches or to manage international affairs in public and private sectors. Currently, our College has more than 40 full-time faculty members. Quite some of them are citizens of foreign countries. Several former top-rank officials to assume teaching positions with us.
