摘要:	Taiwan is an aging society, and the percentage of elderly people living in Taiwan will account for 14.36% of Taiwanese society in 2018. Taiwan then will become an aged society. To promote an active aging society in Taiwan, maintaining and enhancing senior mobility is a very important issue. Identifying how often the elderly engage in outside activities and exploring factors that influence trip frequencies for those activities is an important task. This study investigates trip frequencies for outside activities for the elderly using a questionnaire survey. The results of the survey indicate that the following subgroups of elderly people made more trips than others: younger seniors, seniors with better walking capabilities, and seniors living in small urban or rural areas who had a motorcycle or a bike at home.
