    摘要: 在資訊迅速成長的時代, 建立四通八達的全球資訊網(WWW)及企業網路(Intranet), 已成為企業界掌握契機的最佳武器; 本研究針對建立一套完備並提供上網需求的農田水利會管理資訊系統, 依不同的需求分別探討以下兩種系統以支援網路需求: 1.主從式(Clien-server)系統資料庫的架構, 使得資料庫管理系統在伺服器上執行直接控制、管理及存取資料, 並經過相關的分析及處理, 提供決策者重要的資訊; 而且能夠在WWW上結合資料庫管理系統, 使得資訊的傳播與運用更是無遠弗屆。 2.地理資訊系統(GIS)結合後端強大的資料庫可以將空間資料以圖形方式表示及儲存, 使得決策者擁有客觀的參考資料; 而GIS在網路上呈現的空間視覺化之功能, 並緊密地結合空間屬性及相關資料庫, 使得決策及生活上的需求在WWW上能夠發揮的淋漓盡致。 本研究目的是將最新的資訊技術與觀念運用在農田水利會資訊管理整合系統, 以協助各水利會及主管機關能有效地經營與管理水土資源。
    In the Information quick growth age, constructing intranet and/or internet have given enterprises the unprecedented opportunities across international boundaries. However, most of the existed database in the Irrigation Associations would not satisfy the significant needs for resource management and sharing information. In this paper, we first discuss the possible problems of integrated the original database systems used in the Irrigation Associations. Then, we propose two integrated information systems by sharing information on the WWW and explain how these two systems could solve the problems. 1. Client-server architecture could access, update and manage the database in server. It would not only provide the reliable information for making-decision through related computing and analysis, but also share information on WWW. 2. Geographic Information System (GIS) associated with the Client-sever architecture could give decision-makers the objective information. The GIS, which has spatial visual ability and attributed information, associated with related database on WWW, would provide the significant information for life, enterprises, policy, etc. In this paper, we describe how the integrated information system in the Irrigation Associations could be established by the modern information technique and concept and how this system works in the resources management.
