    摘要: The main purpose of the present article is to propose a new estimator for the exponential mean whose bias and mean square error are both less than that of the MLE under type I censored sampling. Some other properties of the proposed estimators are also studied. Comparisons of the proposed and the known estimators are also made for small sample size.
