Abstract: The physical properties of incompressible fluids used in heat exchangers, such as viscosity and thermal conductivity, change considerably with temperature during their normal operating conditions. This study investigates the heat transfer characteristics of microchannel flows by taking these variations into account. Our results demonstrate that the temperature effects are significant and must be taken into account if accurate predictions are to be obtained.
