    Abstract: 客運車站牌與運輸手冊是非常基本且重要的運輸資訊傳達方式,以提供使用者所需要的搭車資訊;許多文獻指出高齡者有許多運輸資訊障礙,例如:站牌和運輸手冊的字體太小、很難看懂資訊內容、以及不會查詢運輸手冊。本研究進行問卷調查,以確定高齡者最小能看得到的站牌和運輸手冊字體尺寸。本研究以臺南縣西港鄉為研究地區,設計不同的客運車路線和時刻表方案以及一個活動導向運輸手冊,並進行測試,以評估高齡者是否能看得到、找得到且看得懂站牌與運輸手冊中的資訊內容。本研究共招募36位高齡受測者,評估結果顯示,即使許多受測者教育程度不高,全部受測者都能正確地找到查詢的站牌資訊,受測者多能利用客運車運輸手冊找到需要的資訊。
    The bus information provided at bus stops and printed within information brochures are very basic but important means to provide passengers with necessary information. Numerous studies have shown that many elderly passengers encounter transportation information barriers. For example, the font sizes of information at bus stops and within information brochures are too small. In addition, elderly citizens have difficulty understanding the content of the information provided. Lastly, senior citizens do not know how to inquiry about transportation information from brochures. A questionnaire was conducted to understand the minimum font sizes that the elderly need to see information at bus stops and in transportation information brochures clearly. Sigang Township in Tainan County has been chosen as the study area. This study designed different schemes for bus route maps and schedules, as well as an activity-based bus information brochure. They were tested and evaluated to determine whether or not the elderly could see, find, and understand bus information content illustrated at bus stops and printed within brochures. A field evaluation test was conducted with 36 elderly subjects. The evaluation results show that even though the education levels of many of the elderly subjects were not high, they correctly found all the information they were asked to indentify at the test bus stops. In addition, the subjects correctly found most of the information they were asked to indentify within bus information brochures.
