Introduction: 民國39年設立。民國44年為紀念首任董事長居覺生先生命名為覺生紀念圖書館。民國54年升格為學校一級單位。目前除總館外，另有鍾靈分館、台北分館及蘭陽校園分館。民國89年8月在總館五樓規劃「歐盟資訊中心」，集中存置相關資料並提供歐洲文獻系統使用。民國89年8月1日 圖書館組織重整，原採錄組圖書、非書資料徵集業務併入編目組，期刊業務併入非書資料組後，更改組名為採編組；推廣服務組改名為典藏閱覽組；參考資訊組改名為參考服務組；新增數位資訊組；非書資料組、海事博物組維持原組名。覺生紀念圖書館透過學術資訊的卓越管理及高品質的資訊服務，以支援淡江大學四個校園的學習、教學、研究、服務等目標。
