Abstract:	本論文旨在反思近、現代中國古典詩學的詮釋取向；從而提出另一種新的詮釋視域。近、現代的中國古典詩學，往往把詩看作是一種靜態的語言形構，藉由聲律與意象引發讀者的審美經驗；必須是「無關實用」而以表現「自身之美」為目的之詩，才是藝術性的「純詩」。這種詮釋無法完全解明中國古代詩歌文化現象的意義。其實，在中國古代，「詩」無所不在；知識分子普遍地將它當作特殊的言語形式，使用於各種社會互動。因此，「詩之用」是中國古代特殊的社會文化行為現象。本論文乃從「詮釋社會學」(interpretive sociology)的視域，提出另一種詮釋取向，其基本假定是：「用詩，是中國古代知識分子一種特殊的社會文化行為模式；而詩，就是這種行為模式的中介符號」。在這個基本假定上，本論文試圖提出一套建立「中國詩用學」的構想。
