    Abstract: 本計畫主要為沿續本人博士論文題目" Extended Rank andMatched-Pair Analysis of Covariance"已知 的結果整理成專文發表,並繼續做更深入的探 討衍申.在理論架構上,我們提出一種經由容忍 度調整的新的計數排序方法Extended rank,此方法 的優點在於考慮共同變數(Covariable)後,可將迴 歸的架構引進鉗夾配對,也因而提高了相對應 於傳統的區間配對在檢定群體差異時的極限相 對效率,後者一個典型的統計量為Matel Haenszel統計量.此方法也避免了傳統的迴歸分析嚴謹的 線性假設,而提供遠為寬鬆的假設條件.在未來 發展方向上有下列數點:(1)容忍度的選擇與自 變數X和因變數Y之間函數模式的平滑度(Smoothness)有關,無母數迴歸的概念或許可大量移 植;(2)此種新的排序方法應用在多元離散型變 數所衍生的一些有趣的分布性質,後者在區間 配對中一個典型的統計量為GeneralizedMantel-Haenszel statistic;(3)在流行病學方法論中傳 統的配對方式提供突破性的應用與發展,並輔 以實例.
